Depression is a very serious issue that is often neglected by the parents. 9 out of 10 times parents or guardians have no idea about what their children are going through. They should notice small changes in the behaviour of their children and should communicate with them about their problems. In this way, they will create trust and a good relationship with their children that will help them to overcome depression. Parents should listen to the problems and help them to find a solution or can just comfort them by letting them know that they are not alone in this. These small steps will make a big difference and help in building confidence that will further help them to focus more on the things that are more important for them like their careers, physical as well as mental health.
